For the purpose of this Guarantee the following terms will be used:

"Seller" or "Alaskan Lowriders" will refer to Alaskan Lowriders,the seller of the puppy. The terms "Buyer", "Customer", and "Original Owner" will refer to the original purchaser of the puppy. The terms "Veterinarian" or "Licensed Veterinarian" will refer to a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or veterinary clinic licensed and accredited by the state in which the practitioner or clinic is located.

Alaskan Lowriders guarantees all puppies sold by it to be free from communicable diseases for 72 hours only.

All puppies sold will be current on all puppy shots as of the date of sale and will have been recently wormed.

We guarantee all puppies sold by us to remain free from life threatening congenital and genetic defects for the lifetime of the puppy.

All puppies will be given a Veterinarian examination before ownership is transferred to the buyer and will come with a State of Alaska Health Certificate signed by our veterinarian if shipped. All available health and vaccination records for the puppy will be mailed to the new owner soon after the puppy is shipped or given at the time of pick up.

To help ensure that our puppies stay healthy we require the following:

The buyer will have 72 hours from the time they receive their puppy to have it examined by a veterinarian of their choice. Buyers will be provided with a "Puppy Health Check and Veterinary Release Form" which must be completed and signed by a licensed veterinarian of the buyer's choice when the puppy has the above examination. Failure to have this form signed by the veterinarian and returned to Alaskan Lowriders will void the puppy guarantee.

The following minimum conditions must be met in order for this Puppy Guarantee to remain in effect for the period stated:

1. The puppy must receive veterinary care at periodic intervals to include but not be limited to regular health check-ups, worming and the continuation of the vaccination series which has already been started.

2. The puppy is to receive suitable, daily rations of quality food and clean water to keep it well nourished and resistant to sickness.

3. The puppy is to be housed in a suitable shelter typical for its breed and be kept protected from both extreme weather conditions and other hazards such as predators.

4. The puppy will not be used for breeding unless permission to do so has been obtained by Alaskan Lowriders. In order to obtain permission the owners MUST provide proof of the following tests and thier results: OFA, CERF, PRA Cord 1 and Narcolepsy. If the results are satisfactory to Alaskan Lowriders, the owner may obtain full registration for an additional fee of $300.00. If the results are not satisfactory, Alaskan Lowriders will notify the owner the reason in writing within 30 days.

In the unlikely event that your puppy is discovered to have some serious genetic defect within the guarantee period, please do the following:

A. Notify Alaskan Lowrider's immediately by telephone

B. Send notice in writing via certified, overnight, or any other form of mail that can be tracked.

C. If the claim is for any defect other than those judged by OFA or CERF, please submit by any form of traceable mail a copy of the findings and appropriate material to be reviewed by our veterinarian.

The process continues as follows:

D. Our veterinarian will review the findings at Alaskan Lowriders expense. If our veterinarian disagrees with the original diagnosis, Alaskan Lowriders will submit, at Alaskan Lowriders expense, the findings to a third veterinarian. The third opinion will determine whether the original findings are valid. If they are found to be valid by any of the above actions, the claim is then grounds for enforcement of this guarantee.

Claims are not considered valid until the owner has followed the processes outlined in this agreement and adhered to the stipulations stated herein.

The amount of the refund will be determined as follows:

If the original puppy is left with the buyer, the original puppy must be spayed or neutered by the owner within 30 days after that decision is made. Proof from a licensed veterinarian that the original puppy has been spayed or neutered must be furnished in writing to Alaskan Lowriders. Upon receipt of spaying or neutering by a liscensed vet, a refund for the total purchase price will be issued within 6 months.

In all cases where there is going to be a replacement puppy given, Alaskan Lowriders reserves the right to have the original puppy returned to Alaskan Lowriders on the condition that you provide Alaskan Lowriders with the original AKC papers, signed by you and transferring ownership to Seller. Upon receipt of both dog and accompanying papers, a refund for the total purchase price will be issued within 6 months. Seller will assume responsibility for shipping in this case.

Replacement puppies delivered under this Guarantee will be covered by the same guarantee as the original puppy.

Alaskan Lowriders will not be responsible for any third party veterinary or laboratory bills incurred by you at any time.

Any health disputes regarding your puppy which may occur will be presented to Alaskan Lowrider's veterinarian who will make the final decisions or determinations on such issues.

UNDER NO INSTANCE, other than accidental injury, should the dog be euthanised. If you are considering euthanisation for ANY REASON, other than accidental injury, please contact Alaskan Lowriders IMMEDIATELY.

UNDER NO INSTANCE, should the dog be sold, given away or taken to Animal Control. If you are considering not keeping the puppy for ANY REASON, please contact Alaskan Lowriders IMMEDIATELY. A full refund will be given within 6 months of adoption, Half of the adoption fee within 1 year of the adoption and a 1/4 of the adoption fee within 2 years of the date of adoption.

All expenses incurred by the buyer on returning any puppy to Alaskan Lowriders, except as expressly contained herein to the contrary, will be the sole responsibility of the buyer. Replacement puppies may be picked up from us at Alaskan Lowriders or they will be shipped to the buyer at the buyer's expense.

This Guarantee accrues to the benefit of the original purchaser only. It is not transferable and will become null and void if any interest in the puppy is sold, leased, in any other way transferred to a third party or if the puppy is no longer under the direct care, custody and control of the original buyer unless permission to do so in writing has first been obtained from Alaskan Lowriders.
